5 Steps to Better Skin - Change My Eating Habits

5 Steps to Better Skin

by

When you feel good inside, the glow of your skin can confirm it to others. Happiness from within is reflected by the radiance of your skin, but to get that glowing quality, it is important to follow some health boosting lifestyle habits that are friendly to your skin.

Here are five ways to get you started.

#1 Make it a habit to wash your face twice a day with a cleansing milk. Starting the day with a freshly cleansed face is as important as is going to bed; it’s essential to remove makeup before bedtime or else it can cause pimples.

#2 Exercise or play sports. Any kind of exercise whether it is walking, biking, or skating helps blood circulate around the body. With more fresh blood supplied to every part of the body, including the skin, the result is often a nicer complexion. Plus exercise relieves stress which itself can be very bad for the skin.

#3 Get your beauty sleep! Sleep is very important for the overall normal functioning of the body. If you happen to be sleep deprived, your skin will show the signs as being dull, looking tired and having dark circles under the eyes. When you do not properly rest at night, skin cell rejuvenation is also affected in a negative manner.

#4 Enjoy the sun daily. 15-20 minutes a day of sun is excellent for the skin as well as for improving your mood. Vitamin D is important for many functions of the body, so getting a good dose daily deserves attention. However, always remember to put UVA and UVB sunscreen between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm to avoid sun damage and sunburn.

#5 Hydrate yourself by drinking water. Water flushes and eliminate toxins from the body. So drink 8-12 glasses a day as this will help hydrate and soften skin as well as reduce pimples outbreaks.
