Nutraphoria School of Holistic Nutrition Review

Programs and Courses at Nutraphoria

The Nutraphoria School of Holistic Nutrition has a comprehensive program in Holistic Nutrition that not only covers the nutritional aspect but also other fundamentals that make it an all-inclusive curriculum.

  1. Holistic Nutrition & Health Coach Certification

This is a Tier 1, extensive, full-range online program that focuses on the correlation between nutrition, lifestyle, and overall health. The program emphasizes a mind/body/spirit concept in relation to health.

The course is divided into 4 core components which are as follows:

  • Integrative health fundamentals
  • Principles of holistic health
  • Nutrition sciences
  • Meal planning and coaching skills

When students graduate from this course, they will be fully equipped to start working with their clients right away. They can successfully evaluate the needs of their clients and devise a dietary and lifestyle plan specific to their needs.

For students who wish to specialize in a particular area of interest, there are more options available. For example they can choose from any of the following courses to master their expertise as a Holistic Nutrition & Health Coach:

  • Sport & Fitness Nutrition Specialist

This program will help you understand the part nutrition has in relation to sport, exercise and health. The program will give guided instruction on how you can nourish your body to obtain optimum performance, and better health.

This certificate program works well for professionals like yoga instructors, personal trainers and fitness enthusiasts.

  • Mind Body Nutrition

Take a look at how the mind and body work together in relation to food. Study about how nutrients in the brain and the gut can affect your health. With optimal nutrition, you can reduce many health conditions and eating disorders.

  • Optimal Nutrition for Healthy Kids

Children’s nutritional needs for development are very specific and have an impact on their health and growth.  Learn how to work on good nutrition when planning meals for kids.

  • Vegetarian Nutrition

Find out all about the advantages of a diet that is plant based. The course also guides you on avoiding frequent nutritional deficiency mistakes.

Plus, the Tier 1 course is unique in the sense that it allows students to advance into the Holistic Nutritionist program after graduating. Students can add on to their credentials from different online course options and specialize in their areas of interest.

  1. Holistic Nutritionist Certification

This is a 2 Tier certification where students will build on what they learned in the Holistic Nutrition & Health Coach Certification Program.

Students who want to further their education and wish to work with more complex cases and a wider range of clients opt for this program. They need to have completed the Tier 1 certification to qualify to move on to this program.

This detailed course is divided into 3 core courses covering the topics of:

  • Anatomy & Physiology
  • Nutritional Symptomatology & Pathophysiology
  • Mind/Body/Nutrition

Business Blueprint

This is a course that any wellness professional can take to advance their personal business. It is included as a bonus for graduates of the Holistic Nutrition & Health Coach and Holistic Nutritionist Certification programs.

    Hi Eva,
Thank you for posting your review. I’m considering this school but I have a FT job and two kids so I’m trying to figure out how I would manage this too. Was their estimated 7-10 hours per week accurate in your experience?
    Thank you!

Hello Kim, Thank you for your comment. I also had a FT job in HR while I was doing y studies and I completed the program in about 15 months. 🙂 I had asked for an extension. Yes, 7-10 hours is accurate; but you can do less in a week and do more the next. I used to get up really early and read and I also read on my way to work on the public transit. I hope this helps! All the best.

    Hi Eva,

Great post and awesome website. I was wondering what your journey has been like transitioning into working as a health coach, or finding clientele? Im currently thinking of enrolling in nurtaphoria, but the fact that it is online makes me feel like i might not be prepared enough with just that. Have you been working as a health coach full-time?

Hi Vanessa! Thank you for your comment. Nutraphoria’s online program is great. I completed it in about one year.
You can practice online or even offline doing one on ones with clients or group workshops locally. There are so many opportunities.
I get contacted quite often for projects but for now I choose to practice part-time. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the review Eva! I’m thinking about joining this school but haven’t been able to find many reviews yet. Can you recommend a specific program? I was thinking about registering for the Holistic Nutrition program and do a specialization in vegetarian nutrition.

Hi Eugenia! It’s my pleasure! You can choose the holistic nutrition coaching program or the complete one. I myself am studying the vegetarian specialization and loving it!
